A Reminder You Might Not Know You Needed
Do me, and yourself a favor. Today, remember.
Hey friend.
Here is a quiet poem & reminder for you to start your week. No other context. Just know when I wrote it, I knew it was Just For You.
Justin
The Unseen Scenes
One of the quietest heartbreaks in the human experience is that you will never fully witness how deeply you are loved. You will never see the way your mother studied the architecture of your baby hands as if they held blueprints to a future she’d never get to build. You will not hear the private soundtracks others have scored with your name; a song on repeat that makes someone ache and smile in the same breath. You won’t catch the eyes that linger in admiration too sacred to speak aloud, or the friend who stayed up all night crafting a gift that felt like an apology for every moment they failed to show up before. You’ll never know about the stranger who tried to find you on Instagram at 2:14am, not to reconnect, but to remember. The coworker who hasn’t quit because your “How are you?” was the only thing keeping their world intact on a Tuesday. There are whole galaxies moving behind curtains you’ll never open. A divine theatre of silent consideration. A love not loud, but layered. And it is all for you. Do me, and yourself a favor. Today, remember.

Justin… oh man. This felt like getting a cozy towel wrapped around me after nearly drowning in my own overthinking. The line, “There are whole galaxies moving behind curtains you’ll never open,” hit me like a freight train of feels in the best possible way, of course. You reminded me that love doesn’t have to shout from the rooftops to make its presence known; it’s there, quietly beating, unwavering. I can’t thank you enough for this gentle reminder.
Dear beautiful soul, finding your substack made m'y day 🌻 I really want to thank you for reminding me that humanity is real
